We at ShoreShade, owner of shoreshadesails.com, appreciate your visit. This site is owned and operated by ShoreShade LLC of Augusta, Georgia.

02What information we collect
The information we collect is limited to what you give us and what is needed to run the store:
- Site forms — details you submit through our contact and sign-up forms (name, email address, phone number, and your message).
- Email — we retain email addresses and messages sent to us.
- Orders — when you buy from us, our checkout provider collects the name, shipping and billing addresses, and payment details needed to fulfil your order. ShoreShade never sees or stores your full card number.
- Text messaging — if you opt in to ShoreShade text messages, we collect your mobile number and your consent record. See Text messaging below.
03How we use your information
Contact requests — we answer each contact request personally by email or phone, using the information you submitted to respond.
Orders — to process, ship, and support your purchase, and to send you order and shipping updates.
Marketing — if you sign up for our email list or text messages, we use your contact details to send offers, product news, and restock alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to any text.
04How your information is stored
Information submitted through our forms is passed to our password-secured database for protection. Periodically, we download that information to our company’s internal network, removing it from the server.
Order data is held by our commerce and payment providers under their own security programs.
07Text messaging
When you opt in to ShoreShade text messages, we store your mobile number, the date and method of your consent, and your message history so we can honour your preferences. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or HELP for help. The full program terms are in our Mobile Messaging Terms of Service.
08Children's privacy
Our site does not contain any information that would be of interest or value to children, nor do we knowingly target children in any of our advertisements. Those under 18 should not submit information to this website. Parents should supervise minor visitors.
09Spam
We are an anti-spam company and we do not tolerate it — either through postings to our site or through our mailings and notifications to you. If you receive anything you believe to be spam from us, forward it to helpin12@shoreshadesails.com immediately.
10Website terms of use
This site is intended for audiences 18 years or older. By visiting our site — which means “using” our website — you agree to these terms. They apply to all users regardless of location.
Our site is copyrighted
All content within our site — graphics, images, photographs, banners, text, code, software, databases, and email addresses on this domain — is protected by copyright. You may not copy, alter, republish, recompile, reverse-engineer, or distribute site content, or use our domain email addresses, without permission. Either party may terminate this agreement by written notice to helpin12@shoreshadesails.com. Even after termination, this agreement remains in effect. Should any legal action be required, such action will take place in the State of Georgia, in the United States of America.
